How to control exposure time of KAI-29050 using GPO1 in AD9928

hi everyone,We want to use GPO1 to control exposure time of kai-29050.

GPO1 can control SUB pin of kai-29050.

Sub pulse can be detected with an oscilloscope.

When we changed the GPO1 signal pulse position, the output image gray level did not change.

Here're some of our's register values (related to GPO1)

(0x07A,0x0FFFFDE),

(0x071,0x0004000),

(0x07C,0x000A001),

(0x07D,0x0002000),

(0x07E,0x0000007),

(0x07F,0x000A002),

(0x080,0x0004000),

(0x081,0x0000008),

(0x073,0x0000006),

(0x070,0x0000010),

Do we need any Settings for our AD9928 register?

Thanks!

  • Hi,

There is separate forum for ADCs group Precision ADCs
Could you please post your question there where you will be more likely to get a knowledgeable answer.
Please note that, we do not have any reference settings for this CCD. It's possible that On-Semi might have something for a similar CCD.
Try checking the RG drive and RG mask register settings to make sure they are all programmed correctly. Also, any Sequence registers that are not used should always be set to 0x0 to avoid any unintended masking behavior.
The V-clocks should be debugged with the CCD disconnected.

    Thanks,
