ADV7513: What work 0x48 bit 6 "Video Input Bus Reverse" ?

How do work  - ADV7513 0x48 bit6 "Video Input Bus Reverse" ?

(1) working as below?

    It only effects the pixel data bus but it reverses the entire thing... not just inside the component... what was on bit 23 is now on bit 0, bit 22, is on bit 1, etc.

    I was confirm the reverse operation in Eval Board (ADV7612 to ADV7511).

    The reverse operation is fine.

    However, it does not work where the customer has confirmed in the ADV7513.

    I heard ADV7511 & ADV7513 is same chip, difference is pin connection.

    I think of the connection reverse operation will become as follows. Is it correct?

    They aren't the same chip but very close.  The smaller bus would reverse in the same way as your diagram.

    Why, reason for customers focusing on reverse operation,

    They are used to visually check the wiring abnormality of bits on the LSB side.

    As shown in the "Screen Image" tab in the attachment,

    The reverse operation is can see clearly abnormal  on LSB side.

    However, on account of the internal wiring in the ADV7513,

    It was found that it becomes dark image even if the reverse operation.

    And that can not be used for visually check the wiring abnormality.

  • Is it clearly that, if I connected RGB888 with wrong LSB/MSB order, can I use BUS REVERSE + CSC to correct it only using Software? Or I can not use it, only thing I can do is re-design hardware?
