ADV7480 without audio output

Hello,

Are you sure you are in HDMI mode and not DVI mode? What does the audio infoframe say for the video format?

All the docs and script should be posted, but they haven't made it up yet. I'll see what is available.

I am sorry,It works on DVI mode.There are something wrong with the value of EDID.

I try to fix the value of EDID.

But sometimes we can't recieve the EDID interupt in source(adv7511).

So how to generate a proper EDID interupt?

Hello,

DVI mode is certainly the issue with audio. I think you need to look at the DDC lines to see what is happening with the EDID.  You can get the EEDIT program on Engineer Zone to make a valid EDID as well.

All I can post at the moment is some scripts for you.

And when I set the EDID value,then the 7480 will generate a EDID interrupt automaticly.And I will get it from adv7511. Right?

If the EDID is set up and enabled in ADV7480 then the ADV7511 should automatically read it when you connect it. You should watch the DDC lines to verify this.

This problem is solved.

There are some problem in the adv7511.

We just read 128byte from adv7480,this block is right.

Then we set the 0xC4,then we read the last 128byte.This block is messy.

I think we should read 256byte onetime.It will work.

Maybe set the C4 will clear the memory.
