The customer try to use ADV7180. But the output image is not good.

The issue seems to come from that the camera output 648x486 though they want 640x480.

Then the image was scrolling. It seems there are too many Horizontal Synchronization Output Signal.

The synchronization seems deviated.

They couldn't control camera output, Then they want ADV7180 to control it.

Can they fix it with tuning register?

Can ADV7180 tune the Horizontal Synchronization Output Signal?

ADV7180 just converts from analog to digital-- it can't change formats.  What you are asking for is a scaling function since you are basically trying to shorten the line and then retime it. For ADV7180, whatever timing comes in is what comes out.

The only flexibility you have is to move the location of the syncs around a bit relative to the input, you can't actually change the vertical or horizontal timing.
