    I do understand that there is no support available for ADV7170.
    
 
    But did it perform a progressive to interlace conversion . Because as per the datasheet there is a register which controls the output as interlace or progressive.
    
 
    Below is the excerpt of the datasheet at page 30. 
    
 
    "MR1 BIT DESCRIPTION
    
 
    Interlace Control (MR10)
    
 
    This bit is used to set up the output to interlaced or noninterlaced mode. This mode is only relevant when the part is in composite video mode."
