Hello,
As ADV7613 is display HDMI to LVDS bridge, is it possible to driver LVDS Panel directly via HDMI video input?
Thank you very.

Hi,
I believe this is yes. It is described in the data sheet Page no:12 section LVDS transmitter features which is at http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADV7613.pdf

The two LVDS output ports (Port 1 and Port 2) can drive two LVDS display panels with video streams from a single video data stream received by the HDMI receiver.

Hello,
As I know, the different panel size or resolution that may need scaling function on this HDMI to LVDS bridge.
I afraid ADV7613 can't full screen on some of panel, and then need some of video scaling find tuning.
is it right?
Hi,
What is the maximum resolution that you want? The HDMI receiver supports maximum of 148.5 MHz TMDS clock frequency
Let me check with experts and confirm whether scaling function involves on this.

Hello,
example:
the panel resolution is 1920x1080P, and the input video resolution 480P to ADV7613 with LVDS Output.
I think it should be need scaling function or an FPGA in back end of ADV7613 for panel display.
is it right my idea?
There is no video scaler in the ADV7613. so to drive the 1080P panel you would need another device like the FPGA to generate the 1080P video using the 480P LVDS output from the ADV7613.
Hello,
Understood. Thank you very much.
