Hi ADI,
Can you provide the procedure to configure the ADV7403 for stanag 3350 class B as input and 20-bit YUV422 as output?
Thank you in advance,
With regards
Rashmika

Hi,
Please refer configuration table from Page306 at "ADV7403_Manual_RevB.pdf"
STANAG Class B belongs to '625i(PAL)' component analog RGB signal so kindly configure '0x00','0xC3','0xC4' for YPbPr selection and also crosscheck '0x03' register configuration for 20-bit YUV422 output.

Hi Poornima,
Do we have to configure color space converter registers? Because we are converting RGB to YUV422 20 bit(ycbcr) andif yes, how to do it?
Thanks,
Rashmka Thota
Hi,
Please configure CSC registers from 0x52 to 0x66 for RGB IN to YPbPr OUT. Kindly refer below snap for reference.
And configure '0x6B' register as '0xC1' for '20 bit 422 output'

Thanks,
Poornima S
Hi Poornima
We are using the following requirement for configuration of ADV7403
I/P video - STANAG 3350 with Sync on Green input to chip, interlaced video input (Class B)
O/P video - 20 Bit YCbCr, BT656 format as output from the chip
For hardware connection we are using a custom hardware who's input configuration for RGsB is
Ain 1 - G and SOG
Ain 2 - B
Ain 3 - R
We are observing an issue with the video output colors. When a red color is given as input with overlay 'R', the display shows pink instead of red. Similarly, when blue or green is provided as input, the display appears dark greenish in color. Additionally, a horizontal pink lines are visible on the screen, which flickers and changes it position
The register configuration we are currently using is attached below. Based on this configuration, we were expecting the output colors to accurately match the input colors (i.e., red → red, blue → blue, and green → green), but that is not the behavior we are seeing.
Additionally, when no input is connected, we expect the display to show a black background with the programmed letter "R". However, the background is appearing green instead. We would appreciate any insights into whether this behavior could also be related to the current register configuration or if there are any additional settings that should be verified.
Could you kindly review the register configuration and let us know if any registers appear to be incorrectly configured or if there are any additional registers or settings that should be configured to achieve the expected output?
