I want to decode teletext inserted on an ADV7280A analog output and insert onto parallel video ancillary data. The decoder shows teletext in status registers, but does not insert it into ancillary data. I am using this eval board: EVAL-ADV7280A Evaluation Board | Analog Devices Does the ADV7280A require implementing the network layer for teletext ancillary data insertion? The expected output is an ancillary data flag (ADF) and a counting pattern with my current implementation.
I am inserting teletext as shown below with an ADV7393 driving the link. Following ITU-R BT.653, I transmit 360 bits total with the first 2 bytes of clock run in as x"AA", x"AA" followed by a frame sync byte of x"E4".

Attached below is the register settings for the ADV7280A. I have written to it enabling teletext decoding, ancillary data insertion, and using PAL video with Teletext WST Type B.
