Product Number: ADV7180

I am currently using the ADV7180/ADV7181C IC and have the following queries regarding its capabilities:

1. Does the ADV7180/ADV7181C support detection of 640×480 interlaced video input?
2. Is the Square Pixel Mode (as referenced in the datasheet) compatible with interlaced video signals?
3. If the ADV7180 does not support 640×480i video, could you please recommend an alternative IC part number that supports this (640*480i)format?

Yes, ADV718x part can support interlaced video (According to specification this decoder supports the conversion of PAL, NTSC, and SECAM standards in the form of composite or S-Video into a digital ITU-R BT.656 format). Please refer reference configuration script at ez.analog.com/.../5355.ADV7181C_5F00_Evaluation_5F00_Software.zip
