When connecting a laptop with the AC adapter unplugged to the ADV7627 and switching to that input, the CTS and N on the Rx side may become abnormal values.
When that happens, the CTS and N on the Tx side may also become abnormal values, causing noise to be heard from the monitor.
I have confirmed this on several different models of laptop.
However, it only occurs on some laptops.
CTS and N will return to normal values if any of the following conditions are met.
1. The AC adapter is connected.
2. Audio is being output.
CTS and N will return to normal values if any of the following actions are taken from the problematic state.
1. Connect the AC adapter.
2. Output audio.
3. Unplug and plug the laptop in.
4. Open the sound device.
What can I do to prevent the CTS and N values from becoming abnormal when the laptop is not connected to the AC adapter and is not outputting audio?
