Product Number: MAX7300
Hello,
Currently, I am working on a project which requires use of I/O Expander IC with 20~25 I/O ports. As per my requirements, I have decided to go with MAX7300 IC 40 TQFN Package. So, as per datasheet this IC has 28 ports, but I can utilize 20~24 ports. Is it allowed to keep the unused ports open or floating ? Or is it necessary that the unused ports should be tied to some logic levels?
