ADV7623 and source code

Category: Software
Product Number: ADV7623

Hi!

I would like to create an adapter for retro computers (Amiga) based on the ADV7623. The design is simple – no power modes 0 and 1, no HDCP, no OSD, no CEC, etc. My project has only two key requirements: it must support two HDMI ports (B and C) that will receive video from two Raspberry Pi devices (only), and the audio must come from an external source (I2S, 44.1kHz, simple stereo).

I have already completed a few simpler projects, but this one seems to be beyond my capabilities. I have gone through all the available documentation (ADV7623 Design Support Files) and have no issues with initializing the device – everything seems clear in that regard. However, when it comes to tasks like handling the repeater function or further operation of the device, I am beginning to realize that I won’t be able to manage without help.

Is there any chance you could provide me with the source code from the evaluation board or any similar tools for the ADV7623 that could guide me on how it should be implemented? Please note that I am just a = a hobbyist, trying to create adapters for old computers to help give them a second life.

Best regards,
