Active lines in ADV7393 NTSC mode

Question

I am using ADV7393 to drive NTSC output from my board. ADV7393 in NTSC mode define the active resolution to be 720x480 . Does the standard allow deriving 720x483 or 720x485. If this is the case can I use ADV7393 to drive NTSC with 720x485 active pixels/lines

Hi, 
 On Engineer Zone, we can only support the modes that are supported by our published scripts. Our video encoders (including ADV7393) are primarily intended for CEA modes, not VESA modes or non-standard modes. However, with that said 720x484 is very close to 720x480 so you might be able to get it to work. We will be very limited, however, in our ability to support you.
