Interfacing and synchronization

Question

Hi, 
 we are interfacing the ADV7125 DAC directly with i.MX6 CPU, the data is coming from i.MX6 CPU is in 24 bit 4:4:4 (RGB) format and Hsync and Vsync separately. 65MHz pixel clock frequency as shown in fig. 
 
 The question is, is it the proper way to interface. 
 second thing as the Hsync and Vsync are separately given to display, then how to synchronize Hsync and Vsync with analog RGB signals. 
 
 Please give the proper solution for synchronize of Hsync and Vsync with analog RGB signals.

Hi, 
 The output wave forms are not dependent on BLANK or SYNC. BLANK and SYNC are just injected into the DAC outputs. 
 Just watch the output amplitude to match the VGA input requirements. VGA requires separate 5V H & V sync signals. You can still use the BLANK signal to blank the video during the refresh intervals. 
 
 The ADV7125 inserts timing information into the video to create the composite waveforms. 
 In systems that utilize separate sync signals, synchronization is achieved by aligning the separate sync signals with the main video data. This alignment ensures that the display device knows when to start a new line (horizontal sync) and when to start a new frame (vertical sync), allowing for proper rendering of the video image.
