[ADV7480] RGB888 transmission order when outputting MIPI-CSI

Question

Hi, 
 In response to a question from Customer, please tell me about the RGB888 transmission order when outputting MIPI-CSI. 
 Is the actual order of data sent R&rarr;G&rarr;B or B&rarr;G&rarr;R? When the customer checked, it looks like the intended image if it is imported in BGR order. 
 Please let me know if there are any documents that can be helpful.

Hi, 
 As per the Hardware Manual the MIPI-CSI output format order is RGB only. The supported MIPI-CSI output formats of ADV740 are shown below.

Please refer the ADV748x Hardware Manual: /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/331/3683.ADV748x_5F00_Manuals.zip .

The MIPI CSI-2 Tx architecture includes a PLL which must be enabled (as outlined in Section 0 in the Hardware Manual) to get serialized data out of the Tx. Ask the customer to check whether PLL is locked or not. The MIPI PLL can be enabled using the mipi_pll_en control.
