Question

Hi 
 I am using AD8145 in our design. In this I need to change output gain 1x and 2x. So as per my understanding from datasheet for 1x gain no changes required with the respective gain pins but for 2x gain I need to connect the gain pin directly with the ground. 
 So I want to confirm that my understanding is correct or not and please let me know if I am wrong. 
 Let me know 1 more thing for changing the gain what should the voltage level on REF pins can we go with the 0V as per schematic or we need to connect any voltage level. 
 
 Please find the schematic for your reference.

Hi, 
 Your understanding is correct, for gain 2 we need to connect gain pin directly to ground. The AD8145 can be configured for a differential-to-single-ended gain of 1 or 2 by connecting the GAIN_x pin of each channel to its respective output (G = 1) or connecting it to a reference voltage (G = 2), which is normally grounded.

Vout is proportional to Vref ( Vout = Vin + Vref ). So, if you want to level shift output voltage, then consider Vref . In many dual-supply applications, VREF can be directly connected to ground (Refer Page16 in Data sheet).
