Request for alternate for ADV7182A

Question

Hi Team, 
 Currently I have selected ADV7182A for my design, but this part looks not recommended for new design, as a alternate part I have ADV7280A. 
 Does ADV7280A support differential analog input like ADV7182A? if not, can you please suggest the alternate part for ADV7182A ?

Hi, 
 There's already a series resistor in-line with the analog input. Check the data sheet schematic. 
 Normally you would put the TVS as close as possible to the connector. Any TVS can divert/absorb all of a 15kV pulse energy. No series resistor is needed but if you do need to keep the divider ratio the same as it is on the schematic, i.e. 36 and 39 Ohms total. 
 For ESD rating, it's only good up to 2kV (HBM) for this part. That's where the device was designed and tested to.
