    One of my customers is producing a product using the ADV7844.
    

    The customer wants to know if there is a way to check the status of the ADV7844 when a malfunction occurs
    

    Currently, she is checking the output signal of the product by taking it with an oscilloscope. Is there any communication or other way to check it?

      Hi,
      

        In order to check the Video part malfunction, We have many locking related registers so depending on the locking status we can able to know the output of the ADV7844 part.
      

        Also Please note that " When these lock bits are high then this is a very good indicator that the ADV7844 has locked to the HDMI input. Note that these bits are designed to be stable. These bits are designed not to easily toggle on/off so as not to give false positives/negatives".
