My customer want to get some recommendation about HDMI2.1 retimer(redriver) IC from ADI.


Requirement Specs are like below. And it will be applied to TV application.


- Support HDMI2.1 signal conditioning.


- Support pin mode or I2C mode for equalization, DC gain and output swing configuration.




Do we have any candidates for this requirement? And, ADV7674's repeater mode is suitable for the requirement?


Also, please let me know the meaning of the retimer(redriver) IC on the HDMI part if you can.

The ADV7671 might be a candidate, Up to 48Gbps and handle HDCP 2.3.  You don't need to utilize the audio port, just set it up as a true pass through.
