AD9984A with ADV7513 for analogue rgb

Hello, i would like to use these two chips to convert an 256x224 analogue 4:4:4 (15 bit color) rbg pal signal with composite sync or sync on luma. At first i want to use an microprocessor to program them, but ultimatively i want to use an EEPROM like the M24C16-R to input the register settings. Now i am wondering if it is even possible to be able to build a board like this, so i am asking here. For sound i want to use the output of an DIT4096 or similar chip using i2s or toslink.

My questions:

-Is my idea even possible?

-do i need to tweak the input, as the resolution is not something normal?

-can these chips also scale to 1080p (or similar) or would they display the signal "as is"?

-how much current is needed to supply these chips? will 300mA be enought for it?

-where do i get detailled information on how to program them, the datasheets are thin in info.

Thanks a lot in advance, excuse my bad english and my missing knowhow, this is the first time i am desinging a video board.

1) Yes, this is possible with some constraints

2) All available documentation can be found here    Video 

3 & 4) None of these chips provide scaling besides the ADV800x series.  The best option might be to somehow covert your 256x224 format into CVBS or VGA(640x480p60) formats.  I don't have a solution to do this.  The ADV7513 or ADV7511 can then convert the format into an HDMI/DVI stream.

5) 300mA might be sufficient however I'd have to see final design.  (Is that 300mA at 12V or 3.3V?....)

6) all these devices require I2C writes after power up to configure them.  Therefore you will need a I2C controls to load these devices

To purchase HDMI parts you must be an HDMI adopter and for parts with HDCP keys you will need to be a HDCP adopter.  The AD9884 is just a triple ADC so not HDMI or HDCP issues.

The ADV7511 has some complete reference designs you can look at.  This is a good place to start
