Please find the below comments,

  Is it necessary to change the setting of IO: 0x02 "INP_COLOR_SPACE[3:0],RGB_OUT,ALT_GAMMA" according to the color space of the input video ?

    Yes, We can use these three registers for setting the Input and output color space.

If automatic setting is fine, is default value 0x02 = "11110000:F0h" okay?

  INP_COLOR_SPACE[3:0] control is used to set the color space of the input video and this to be used in conjunction with ALT_GAMMA and RGB_OUT to configure the required Color Space .
