We didn't experiment this scenario but as per Expert comment "The minimum HS and VS pulse widths are the CLKIN period and also It can be wider."(Please refer below snap) at [ADV739x] Requirements of the pulse width of HSYNC / VSYNC. - Q&A - Video - EngineerZone (analog.com).
