HDMI to AHD

Hi,

   By using Single Part/ Chipset we can support "AHD to HDMI" but for "HDMI to AHD" we have to go with two chip solution.

   ADV7842/ADV7850 can support - AHD to HDMI.

   ADV7850, ADV7181D, ADV7604 and also some more decoders can support Analog HD standard.

Since I am not a video device expert and not familiar with our video solution, could you please make more specific which two chips (as an example) can do HDMI to AHD?  Thx a lot!

For ADV8005 and ADV8003, I think they support the CVBS , Y/C and YPrPb "analog ouputs" in "High Definition" video formats.

However, when people say "AHD" and "HDMI to AHD" convertor, it usually refers to the IP camara's AHD format which is nextchip solution. 

Personally, I think they are different thing. Could you help to clarify this in this thread?

I agree. I think we should clarify what the customer means by "AHD" before offering a solution.
