CVBS -> ? -> HDMI RX (i.MX8)

Thread Summary

The user inquires about digitizing an analog video signal (CVBS) to HDMI using the ADV7182AWBCPZ and ADV7511. The final answer suggests using the ADV7850 or ADV7842-ADV7511 combo, as both can convert CVBS to HDMI. The ADV7511 can output 8-bit 4:2:2, acting as a parallel to serial converter, and the input timing is controlled by the user. The ADV7511 and ADV7511W are the same die but differ in qualification testing, with the ADV7511W suitable for automotive applications.

How to digitize an analog video signal (CVBS) to HDMI?

Idea: CVBS -> ADV7182AWBCPZ (8 Bit TTL) -> ADV7511 (HDMI out) -> i.MX8 (only HDMI RX is free to use!)

A search on the analog side showed that the ADV7511 could be suitable.

However, from the fact sheet I cannot see if the ADV7511 with 8 bit 4:2:2 input can generate an HDMI frame.

Can you organize us a datasheet for this device ADV7511?
