Hi,

   I beleive, You don't need to be an HDMI Adapter for evaluation purpose unless you have plan to use HDMI compliant or any reference to HDMI in a product then you should probably be HDMI licensed.

  Anyhow Please contact local ADI sales representative (FAE) for further confirmation

  Kindly note "There are two different things. You'd need to be an HDMI adopter regardless, depending on what you are trying to do. You have to check here for the terms"

Hi Ramesh,

You will need to be an adopter of HDMI *and* HDCP in order to receive the source code project for the EVAL-ADV8005-SMZ-P.

I believe you will need to be an HDMI adopter to purchase the EVAL-ADV8005-SMZ-P.

Thanks . To Evaluate ADV8005 , More than 10K USD is required including HDMI adapter License.
