About Tx reset method, it can use 0x1AFC[7].

Can ADI provide more information about "mimic the behaviour of hardware powerdown"?

    About Tx reset method, it can use 0x1AFC[7] ?

       If you want to reset the Tx port then you can use the below register for TX_RESET the respective Tx1/Tx2 port and the reset or if you want to power down the Tx Port then you can use this register to power down the Tx "SYSTEM_PD" - Tx1/Tx2 Main Map.

    Please note "The software resets all registers to their default states and the hardware reset will set all registers to their default state and reset the I2C engine"

    Also the I2C master controller will receive a no acknowledge condition on the ninth clock cycle when Chip Reset is implemented. However, it is recommended to wait 5ms before any further I2C writes are performed.

     Also refer Section "RESET" and this section describes the register bits used for resetting various sections of the ADV8005. These resets can be used by the system controller to reset individual sections of the device without having to reset the whole part. If the whole device needs to be reset, this can be implemented
    by setting the global reset, Main_reset. All these register bits are self clearing, which means that when set to 1, they are set back to 0 after the appropriate section has been reset.

    Can ADI provide more information about "mimic the behaviour of hardware powerdown"?

        Mimic is nothing but the 'Software powerdown' resembles the same behaviour of 'hardware powerdown'.
