we need to display the camera output footage to a CVBS display. Our Processor is having MIPI DSI output, we need a converter chip which can help to convert this MIPI DSI to CVBS.
Hi,
We have a chipset that can do CVBS to MIPI out, Please refer below product page. But we don't have single chip conversion for MIPI to CVBS .
https://www.analog.com/en/products/audio-video/hdmidvi-receivers.html
It will require two chip for converting MIPI to CVBS.
MIPI Input - ADV7535 can support MIPI Input, But to receive support on this product, you need to contact your Analog Devices representative (local ADI FAE/Sales team)
CVBS Output - ADV739x,ADV734x part can support CVBS out. Please refer here to know about the more products https://www.analog.com/en/products/audio-video/video-encoders.html
Thanks,
Poornima
Hi Poornima,
ADV7535 has MIPI input and ADV739x has CVBS output.
However, the two chip doesn't have common interface that can connect them together.
Hi Tony,
We do not currently have a single-chip solution for MIPI DSI to CVBS conversion. However, a possible solution using multiple devices is mentioned below:
(MIPI DSI) ADV7535 → (HDMI) ADV7612 (Digital Input) → ADV7393 (CVBS Output).
Thanks,
Ebin
Thank you Ebin!
Hi Ebin:
I have a similar need.
I need to convert 1920*1080p MIPI-CSI2 signal to 720×480i CVBS signal, do you have any ideas?
Hi ,
We do not have a dedicated ADI device that directly converts MIPI CSI to CVBS. The ADV7535 is the only ADI device with a MIPI interface; however, it supports MIPI DSI input only and cannot receive MIPI CSI signals.
Thanks,
Ebin
Hi Ebin:
If the requirement is change to DSI, do you have a solution?
Hi ,
We do not have a dedicated ADI device that directly converts MIPI DSI to CVBS. However, a possible solution is to use the ((MIPI DSI) ADV7535 → ADV8005(CVBS)) ADV7535 to convert MIPI DSI to HDMI, followed by the ADV8005 to convert the HDMI signal to CVBS.
Thanks,
Ebin
