YCrCb to 24bit RGB output in ADV7842

  Could you please refer attached spreadsheet for YUV to RGB color space conversation coefficients and check out the hardware manual in section 7.22.7

Hi,

We don't have any internal software that will convert coefficients into CP CSC register values and Please find the formula that is available in ADV7842 hardware manual at Page166.

As per my understanding this formula related to convert RGB format to YPrPb format, but my concern is converting SDP _ A 1 [ 12 : 0 ] into CSC registers.

I am giving interlaced image(YPrPb format) to ADV7842 and I am converting it to progressive by using ADV7842 and I am getting Image with strips.

When I am giving progressive VGA input or HDMI input I am getting Image without strips.

Hi,

 ADV7842 support an interlaced to progressive block that allows 480i to 480p and 576i to 576p conversions.This block operates in two basic modes: scan line duplication and scan line interpolation. Please ensure with below registers,

Please note, If you are running component YPbPr inputs then it will be processed by the CP, not the SDP.

Referred script show you how to configure the ADV7842 for component 480i and such (4.1a,b,d,e). at 7725.ADV7842_Evaluation_Board_Documents.zip

Now I am running 4-1e script, I am getting Image with 720x288 resolution, how can I get 720x576 resolution data.

As per my understanding if we convert image from interlaced to progressive I will get 720x576, how can I convert interlaced data into progressive.

Hi,

  Please use 576 progressive format script configuration for example '3-2f'  script (YPrPb PAL SECAM PAL_N 576i I_P 576p H_V_DE 36bit 444 out HDMI).

 Kindly use below two register configuration for interlaced to progressive conversation,

while giving input format as YPrPb you suggested to run script in CP mode, In CP mode how can I convert interlaced to progressive?
