ADV7181D AHD documentation

Hi,

Most of our video decoders can support analog HD signal -720p60 .

In CVBS you cannot support HD format.Basically here video information are encoded on one channel ,its not capable for HD format support. In composite interface(CVBS) which carries the SD video (typically at 480i or 576i resolution) as a single channel..It is simply conveys as SD video for the standard definition television signal.

 But even other higher quality analog interface like component video which has three channels (YPbPr).it can support ED/HD standard as well. Here it can use CP to process all component video standards include 525i, 625i, 525p, 625p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 1250i, VGA up to UXGA at 60 Hz.

So in component video interface you can support the AHD standard in our decoders.

so if we have a camera  AHD 1.0 (720p 25fps) with composite interface (CVBS), can we use ADV7181D to decode it ?

  As stated in previous reply, In CVBS you cannot support HD format.

 Kindly note that, In composite interface (CVBS) which carries the SD video typically at 480i or 576i resolution as a single channel.

Thanks, we were a bit confused by some previous thread. There are many automotive cameras with AHD interface (single coaxial 720p and 1080p). Is there any ADI decoder for them?

  Our ADV part can support AHD format but with CVBS its not possible to support AHD format.

 Please try with our ADV part like 'ADV7181D,ADV7850,ADV800x' and let us know about that.

This is even more confusing. We have been trying to decode AHD camera (720p 25fps, single coaxial input just like in CVBS) with ADV7181D chip. How should it be configured to support AHD format?
