I would like to connect an 18 bit digital RGB output (LCD connector) of a video generation device to a display device which requires HDMI input.
The display device strictly requires an input resolution of 864*480 (DV NTSC Widescreen) or 854*480 (FWVGA) because of hardware limitations of the display (no configuration possible). I am able to set digital RGB output to this resolution, but converting into an HDMI signal of similar resolution seems to be difficult .
What I require is a converter board supporting such unusual HDMI output resolutions. Does Analogue Devices ADV7513 (or similar) have such function?

thank you for the links. I already knew 2 of them. Basically according to those links ADV7513 will simply adopt the input resolution (so if input is digital RGB with 864*480 output will be same).
I checked the evaluation board for AD7511 (EVAL-ADV7619-7511), but it seems that the board only has HDMI input, not digital RGB (LCD connector). Is this correct?
In principle the ADV7513 is just a parallel to serial converter. You can use a EVAL-ADV7842-7511P, remove the bus jumpers and jumper in your source, Then run a script to configure the ADV7511 for your format. The -P version does not run repeater code at start up making testing easier.
