Hi,
Is there a way to detect through I2C if the interface chip is ADV7280, ADV7280A-M orADV7282A? I looked at the IDENT register however it was not useful. Is there any other registers that uniquely identify the chip?
Thanks,
Anand

Hi,
Please refer below appropriate value of the silicon revision number for ADV728x chipsets & also we will check whether any registers is avialble to identify the ADV728x model.
ADV7280 register IDENT[7:0], Address 0x11 is 0x42.
ADV728XA register IDENT[7:0], Address 0x11 is 0x43.
Please refer the respective hardware manual for above chipset.
Thanks,
