Relationship between Channel Status data bits (CS_DATA) and behavior / output of ADV7480.

Hi,

I have a question about ADV7480 and Channel Status data bits (CS_DATA).

If a HDMI source device outputs HDMI including wrong Channel Status data bits, does it affect the behavior or outputs of ADV7480?
Does the Channel Status data registers (CS_DATA[39:0], HDMI RX Map, Address 0x36 - 0x3A) affect the behavior or outputs of ADV7480?

I don't think the Channel Status data bits affect the behavior or outputs of ADV7480.
And I think ADV7480 can output correct audio (I2S) data as long as the "Audio Sample Packets" are correct even if the HDMI source device outputs some wrong Channel Status data bits.
Are these right?

       Please find the below comments,

                  I believe Yes,  it would affect the audio output data of ADV7480.

                 Channel status bits are extracted from the HDMI audio packets. These registers are copied from infoframes in the HDMI data stream from the source device. ADV7480 can takes the audio data from the HDMI stream and puts it out on the audio bus pins.

                 If it is an incorrect data, it means from the source itself we are getting the incorrect audio data like sample rate, channel count,bit rate etc So i don't think ADV7480 can output correct audio(I2S) data.
