[ADV8005]Simultaneous output of SD encoder Y/C and RGB

 No its not possible to output Y/C and RGB output in SD encoder, this you can acheive only by using SD and ED/HD encoder simultaneously.

 Please note that DACs 4-6 you can use for outputting the SD signals. So you can output only either RGB or Y/C in SD encoder.

Hi,

I understood the channel restrictions when using simultaneous SD and ED/HD.
Does ED/HD support only the format specified by register 0xE430?
Is XGA or SXGA not supported?

  Yes,  ED/HD output standard support only the formats that are mentioned in the 0xE430 register.

  Note: ADV8005 includes a high-speed digital-to-analog video encoder. Its a 12-bit video DACs provide support for composite (CVBS), S-video (Y/C) and component (YPrPb/RGB) analog outputs in either SD, ED, or HD video formats video formats up to 1080p.
