I want to output an SD image (component or composite) with EVAL-AV8005.
The parts required for SD output have been mounted.
Please give an example of register setting.

Also note that the DACs 4-6 can only output the SD signals of CVBS or black burst or luma or chroma and
DACs 1-3 can only output the ED/HD signals of YPbPr or RGB.
For SD encoder, the input standard can be configured using 'sd_enc_ip_mode[1:0]'.

As described on page 246 of UG-707, when func_mode[2:0] is in simultaneous mode (set to "011"), DAC1-3 outputs only YPbPr or RGB and DAC4-6 outputs only CVBS, BB, Luma or Chroma.
If the setting value of func_mode [2:0] is other than "011", can DAC1-6 freely assign the output signal?
For example, set DAC1 and DAC3 to Luma output, set DAC2 and DAC4 to Chroma output.

Yes you can, In ADV8005 user guide its mentioned like "It is possible to multiplex any of the ED/HD signals out on any of the DACs 1 to 3 in simultaneous mode. Similarly, it is possible to multiplex any of the SD signals out on any of the DACs 4 to 6 ".
The video output changes as follows depending on the setting value of the 0xE484 register of the SD encoder. I saw it in the S-Video image (DAC1: luma, DAC2: chroma).
Set 0x40 to 0xE484 → Color bar output
Set 0x60 to 0xE484 → Grayscale bar output (like a “color bar” without color)
Set 0x20 to 0xE484 → Black field output
In the description of register 0xE484 on page 311 of UG-711, setting "1" disables the test pattern feature.
In other words, setting 0x40 to 0xE484, the color bar will not be output. However, the SD encoder actually outputs the color bar.
Similarly, setting 0x60 to 0xE484 will disable both the color bar and burst test patterns and will output image data (from PVSP or SVSP) connected to the SD encoder. However, the SD encoder actually outputs grayscale bar (like a test pattern).

② How can I set the register to output PVSP or SVSP images from the SD encoder?
The output of SVSP is connected to the SD encoder.
0x44 is set in the 0x1A04 register.
In Figure 110 on page 243 of the UG-707, is 0xE484 the only register that switches between test patterns and video inputs?(red arrow part)
Please let me know if there are other related registers.
