I need to insert VGA signal on ADV7842 with resolutions
These are not standard, so it's possible to ADV7842 decode these inputs and convert to 444 24bit RGB?
Can you send-me a script to configure it?
Yes, the ADV7842 can decode these formats. I don't have a specific script. Just start with the SXGA script, it should work. You may need to change the output format to RGB 24-bit
Which SXGA script are you talking about?
GuenterL can you tell me which script are you talking about?
Go to https://ez.analog.com/video/w/documents/799/advantiv-eval-adv7842-7511-video-evaluation-board
Download the AVES3_Folder..... zip file
In this zip file you will find 'ADV7842-VER.5.9c_AVEB.txt'
This file contains script for many different formats.
go to line 5342, script 5-4a
This script configures the ADV7842 and ADV7511 for SVGA60
Ignore the writes to address 0x50
You may have to tweak the output format to match what you are looking for.
You may also have to tweak other registers depending on your format but this is a good place to start
Also you can use AvesBlue to browse these rather large script files easier
Tanks! I'll work on it!
