Hi everyone,
If the resolution of the input video changes, Can AD9984A automatically match the corresponding resolution?
Hi everyone,
If the resolution of the input video changes, Can AD9984A automatically match the corresponding resolution?
Hi,
Yes, but as long as the pixel clock of particular resolution should not exceed the 170MHZ (i.e Maximum clock supported by AD9984A).
Thanks,
Poornima
How to set it up?
Hi,
Here you can find the script for configuring the AD9984A 8372.AD9984AEvalBrdfiles.zip at https://ez.analog.com/video/w/documents/781/ad9984a-ad9983a-design-support-files

I didn't find the answer i wanted. What I mean is that the video resolution of the VGA input changes, can the AD9984A work normally? During this time the board must not be powered off.
If the input resolution changes, do I need to manually configure the AD9984A to adapt to the current resolution?
Hi,
If you are using software driver, then no need to manually configure the AD9984A registers to adapt the current resolution.
But if you are using the script, in that case you need to configure the registers manually according to your current resolution.
Thanks,
Poornima
