Is the output of the ADA4862-3 suitable for video mux applications? (i.e. high impedance when in shutdown)
In either case what does the impedance of the output look like when in shut down.?

Hi Paul,
The power-down feature shuts down the bias section to save power when a particular part is not in use, and does not produce an intentional high-Z output state. If you were to use the part in a tri-state MUXed configuration, the outputs of the powered-down devices on the bus would appear as relatively high impedances as long as the signal from the active device is small, since the internal transistors are cutoff. This is not a recommended way to operate the part, however, and I recommend instead that you use a dedicated MUX to select between outputs.
Best regards.
