I want to see what the result of the compression will look like for different compression ratios and what tiling artifacts will look like.
Analog Devices has a software tool that runs on Windows which can simulate compressing an image as well as tiling it for different tile sizes, overlaps, and compression ratios. Odd numbers of pixel overlaps will not work properly though.
It can be found here: ftp://ftp.analog.com/pub/Digital_Imaging/JPEG2000_Eval_Software/
When I clicked the compression button, the software crashed. How to solve this problem?
We can only support English language questions in the EngineerZone community. If you would prefer to communicate in Chinese, please visit our https://ez.analog.com/cn
If possible could you please share the image in english. Here we could not able to see the crash in Windows 7.
More questions: This software can only set the compression ratio parameters, what other parameters are used? For example, 9/7 or 5/3 wavelet transform? Which wavelet transform level? Is the image data depth? If I want to further verify the compression performance under different configuration parameters, how should I achieve it?
Looking forward to your reply. Thank you！
