we have used ADV7401 in our design for capturing of Composite video.
Initially, the output video is good but over a period of time the video quality is degraded, video consists black lines. We need support to resolve the issue.
In ADV7401 datasheet, we found part nos ADV7401BSTZ-110 and ADV7401WBSTZ-110, what is the difference between the two.
Is automobile grade available in ADV7401.
The 'W' specifies an automotive product. Means the chip went through more testing to be truly rated as automotive.
First you need to determine what's changing over time
if W means Automotive then what is its operating temperature and is it pin compatible with ADV7401BSTZ-80/110.
I feel power rails are okay, yesterday we did the iteration like reducing the chroma gain and luma gain
from 0.9 to 0.8 and 1.9 to 0.9 respectively. Digital clamp 0x15 we set to 70.
The black lines are reduced but it is blinking for resetting/reverting to good.
The W part just goes through more testing so it can be bin'd as an automotive. The are the same die.
Check the thermals.
