ADV7619 HDMI Map Address 0x14[2]

Hello;

In our product; we are using ADV7619 to receive a 4k signal from a TV BOX; the audio signal cannot be captured.

When we clear the HDMI map address 0x14[2] to 0; the audio signal can be captured. While the datasheet doesn’t mention the usage of this bit. What’s the function of this bit and any impact if clear this bit?

Many thanks!

Bell

  • Hi,

    Are you using scripts or software driver to configure? What is the Audio format that source provides?

    Is Audio PLL locked? For Audio, Have you referred audio control configuration section from ADV7619 hardware userguide UG237 .

    Thanks,

    Poornima.

    Here's the bit description direct from the chip definition:

    <category>HDMI:Audio</category>
    <name>HDCP_AUTHING</name>
    <description>This mask has no effect unless HDCP_MUTE_FLAGS_EN is active. The condition represents that the authentication process is in progress. Aksv was updated but no encrypted frames detected yet.</description>
    <defaultvalue>0x1</defaultvalue>
    <address>0x14.2</address>
