Question from customer:
How can I use ADV7611 with an internal EDID?
Make sure that you don't have external EDID attached to DDC lines.
Following script sets ADV7611 to receive HDMI and output it as YCrCb 444.
Text in bold shows :EDID: script taken from scripts we recommend on our Design Support Files page
( https://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-1745 ). It was inserted into standard HDMI input script.
An EDID content is written to map 6C byte by byte: 6C 00 00, 6C 01 FF, 6C 02 FF and etc.
Just modify values of writes to desired and you will have your custom EDID working from
an Internal EDID RAM. Last write (in bold) will make it visible to HDMI ports:

You may also drop writes to ADV7511 (if you don't have it on your board).
All writes to ADV7511 start with I2C address 72 and can be found at the bottom of the script.

Sure, but it is still relevant, i.e., I haven't found a thread that seems to resolve the EDID issue with adv7611
