using ADV7611 with 8-bit YCbCr BT656 mode VID_STD=0x8, PRIM_MODE_GRAPHICS, 60Hz, OP_FORMAT_SEL=0 I can receive 640x480 progres 60Hz video.
I would like to increase color depth received by uC from present 16bits to 24bits.
It could be done by receiving RGB 8:8:8 video.
Is there a way how to configure ADV7611 (nonHDCP) to output 640x480 progressive video as RGB 8:8:8 on 8-bit SDR interface (P8:15) preferably with embedded sync?
HSync/VSync is acceptable too but requires HW change.Or is there any other HDMI receiver that can output 8bit RGB?
656 inteface can send only 422 data (e.g. 8-bits YCbCr 4:2:2).
To support 444 modes (such as mentioned RGB) you will need 24 lines.
