We need to convert an DVI-A (analog HD) signal to a digital format for feeding an FPGA. Most convenient would have been MIPI-CSI, but since I couldn't find a chip for that, I see that the ADV7850 can convert to HDMI, that we can feed the FPGA instead. However, we don't need the comb filter or any processing on the analog signal. Can we use the ADV7850 without the DDR memory and simply leave the DDR interface pins on the ADV7850 unconnected?
Or, am I wrong and that there is a part I overlooked that can convert DVI-A (analog HD) to MIPI-CSI?
Thanks
