Hi ,
Could you please let me know if AD725 can output Mono Color (RS-170) with out Color burst .
If AD725 cannot do this is there any other device which is suitable to do this .
Thanking you

Hi ,
We are connecting the No color burst Monochrome Composite (RS-170) to a device which use color burst to Monochrome / Color processing .
And would like to if AD725 can output Monochrome (RS-170) without color burst .
Thanking you

Hello,
Yes, just use the "Luminance" output. The input RGB must be interlaced, and you need to apply the external oscillator even though you're not using the chrominance signal.
Best regards.

Hi,
As indicated in the original response, the "Luminance" output produces a monochrome signal with no colorburst. The colorburst signal is generated in the chroma processing scrtion, and is included in the "Chrominance" output. You do, however, have to connect the external oscillator for the monochrome path to work properly.
