The ADV7612 is used in a custom closed system, I am not concerned with compatibility with other hdmi transmiters. The system is a video switch where all the tmds lines are ac coupled. The TMDS lines come out of a CML transmitter where they are immediately terminated with 50ohm pullups. From the pullup the line is ac coupled through a 0.1uF cap, then to a backplane connector. I want to use the ADV7612 on a card which plugs into the backplane, and I'd like to know if I should bias the TMDS lines before they enter the ADV7612, or can I simply connect my ac-coupled lines directly to the ADV7612.
Thanks,
Mike
