ADV7611 Hardware queries

HI,

We are using ADV7611 to convert HDMI to 16-Bit SDR ITU-R BT.656 4:2:2. In input signals (HDMI) from Free-scale iMX.8 processor.

Our Concerns
1) We are connecting CES pin from processor side directly to ADV7611 CES pin 61. Is that okay?
2) pin HPA_A/INT2 - We don't need Hot plug detect. So we are connecting Hot plug line from iMX.8 directly to pin 1 HPA_A/INT2 of ADV7611. Is that Okay?
3) pin RXA_5V - Do we need to connect it to 5V for detecting? We don't have 5V from processor side. Do we need to add 5V regulator to provide voltage to that pin for proper working?
4) LLC pin is clock output for 16-Bit SDR output lines, is that right?
5) We have connected HS pin to Line valid signal input and VS pin to frame valid signal input. Is that okay?s

    1) Are you really using CEC?  If not then just tie CEC pin to ground

    2) Depending on design HPA can be 5V.  Can the iMX.8 pin handle 5V?  If not connect it to the ADV7611 HPA pin which is 5V tolerant.  You can control HPA thorugh I2C transactions with the ADV7611

    3) Normally RXA_5V is supplied by the source so you don't need to generate it locally.  RXA_5V is used as a cable detect.  Again use the ADV7611 since it's RXA_5V pin is 5V tollerant.

    4) Correct LLC is the clock pin

    5) I am not familiar with iMX.8 input requirements.  The ADV7611 is an HDMI decoder and I am not sure what you are connecting the outputs to on the iMX.8.

    1) we dont need CEC

    2) What to do with  HPA_A/INT2 pin if its function is unused. Do we need to pull up to 5V?

    3) What to do with  RXA_5V  pin if its function is unused. Do we need to pull up to 5V?
