ADV7393 internal test color bar

Hi All,

We are trying SD NTSC Color Bar Test Pattern below are my register setting

0x00 0x1C
0x82 0xCB
0x84 0x40

but the starting of white color bar strip is not full compare to other color

similarly last black color strip also not proper size as other colors

    Hi,

      When the active video edge control feature is enabled (Subaddress 0x82, Bit 7 = 1), the first three pixels and the last three pixels of the active video on the luma channel are scaled ,so that maximum transitions on these pixels are not possible.
      At the start of active video, the first three pixels are multiplied by1/8, 1/2, and 7/8, respectively. Approaching the end of active video, the last three pixels are multiplied by 7/8, 1/2, and 1/8,respectively. All other active video pixels pass through unprocessed.
