In visual DSP ++, running simulator ( without any hardware), how to set up core clock Frequency/Speed?
I want to measure how much time a subroutine will take to finish. ( no any hardware )
I am simulating blackfin DSP.
The Blackfin Processors provide Cycle Count Registers which can be used to determine an interval in terms of the number of cycles. The Run Time Libraries define a 'CLOCKS_PER_SEC' macro, which can be adjusted to match the CCLK of your target, thereby providing the option to divide the number of cycles by the CLOCKS_PER_SEC macro to determine a real-world 'time spent'.
