We are wanting to use the chip in an always on RX mode and have TX and RX on at the same time when doing our own external calibration. Since this is so simplistic an operation, is it necessary or desirable to use the ENSM? Since we are not trying to conserve power is the ENSM an unnecessary complication? Or is the ENSM a way to see that internal calibrations are done as a part of the normal sequencing prior to enabling the TX/RX? It seems the documentation jumps off into how to set up the ENSM without really explaining the purpose and benefits of the ENSM. Please elaborate.
