I brought up the AD-FMCADC4-EBZ eval card, both booting from Linux and with the no-os firmware build on a ZC706 carrier. The first time I booted the FPGA into Linux, I was able to operate the analog devices scope software and saw that the ADC operated properly. However, I booted it a second time, and instead of seeing the "run" arrow on the scope, I see two buttons with exclamation marks. I also noticed that the AD9680s are extremely hot on this FMC card. All the test points on the AD-FMCADC4-EBZ are reading the expected voltages. Is there a thermal management issue on this eval card? What might be going wrong?
